myHealth@myHands

Your Health Data, in Your Hands, across Europe

myHealth@myHands is a European initiative empowering citizens with secure digital access and control over their health records, enabling seamless, interoperable healthcare across the EU by 2030.

One Health Data Experience.

Secure, Connected and Citizen-Controlled. Across Europe

Access to health data is still fragmented, especially when citizens travel, relocate, or seek care in another Member State. myHealth@myHands is changing that.

By 2030, the project aims to ensure that every EU citizen can securely access their medical records online and benefit from seamless, interoperable digital health services anywhere in the European Union. The goal is simple: remove barriers, connect systems, and make healthcare truly borderless.

At its core, myHealth@myHands puts citizens in control. Individuals will be able to manage who accesses their health data, benefit from personalised digital support, and experience a more connected and efficient healthcare journey.

Towards a Unified European Health Experience

Universal Access by Design

By 2030, secure online access to medical records should be a reality for every EU citizen. Removing barriers to information creates a seamless digital health experience and supports true continuity of care across borders.

Health Data in Citizens’ Hands

Citizens gain control over their health information, deciding who can access their data while benefiting from personalised digital health support. Greater transparency and autonomy strengthen trust in digital healthcare services.

Seamless Integration Across Europe

The integration of national infrastructures with MyHealth@EU services enables secure and efficient cross-border data flows. Interoperability becomes the backbone of a more coordinated and responsive European health ecosystem.

A Collaborative Knowledge Hub

A dedicated knowledge hub promotes the sharing of best practices and fosters collaboration among citizens, healthcare professionals, policymakers, industry, and academia, accelerating sustainable digital transformation.
