El caso clínico de la Sra. Carolina Alvez

Una paciente de 70 años es evaluada en la consulta externa debido a un dolor de cadera izquierda de 3 años de duración que ha ido empeorando a pesar del tratamiento médico optimizado en consultas anteriores. Esto está afectando gravemente a su calidad de vida.
En la exploración física, la movilización activa y pasiva de la cadera izquierda está muy limitada debido a la rigidez y el dolor. La radiografía muestra estrechamiento del espacio articular, esclerosis subcondral y osteofitos.

Objetivos de aprendizaje

  • Evaluación de la progresión de la coxartrosis
  • Tratamiento en función de la evaluación clínica y radiológica

  • Fármacos sintomáticos de acción lenta para la OA (SYSADOAs)
